MY PROFILE
Mummy Aku's full names are; Catherine Deborah A. Aku. She hails from Ogugu in Kogi State and an Igala by tribe. She currently resides in Kaduna with her wonderful husband Mr. Ben Aku. They are blessed with four children and two grand children.
She is a lover of God, a preacher of the gospel, a song writer, a fashion
designer and an educator.
She said; “Over the years, God has been giving me songs during my quiet time and I would record on my phone and later learn them. Even though I do not know music, I have written songs for children & Sunday programs all these years.
Recently, the Lord told me to leave my footprints in the sands of time by going to the studio with my songs. I argued that I do not know how to sing, It was also looking odd that a 60 year old woman is releasing an album. (Smile)
Finally, the Lord prevailed over me. I therefore present these songs with trembling hands to the world, trusting that men will hear Jesus in every line and that the songs would bring men to the place of prayer in Jesus name. Amen!!!!
